Fuel Spray Nozzle

This product is a fuel spray nozzle made from stainless steel 304 and 410, manufactured by Zhejiang Sanji Stainless Co., Ltd. It is produced using progressive die and stamping presses, where the part is carried on the steel webbing.

Sanji's deep drawn metal stamping presses are capable of drawing a variety of metal types with draw lengths of up to 8" (200mm), part diameters as small as 0.25" (6.35mm), and material thicknesses ranging from 0.001" (0.13mm) to 0.150" (3.8mm).

Advantages of Using Deep Drawn Components

Deep draw is a metalforming technique used to create seamless, one-piece enclosures from metal with a closed end or bottom. The fuel spray nozzle is an example of such an enclosure, also known as a can, case, housing, header, shell, or cover.

Compared to fabricated enclosures, deep drawn enclosures offer several advantages. They are one piece, eliminating welded corners or bottoms and minimizing leak issues. They also provide stable dimensional repeatability.

Deep drawn enclosures are often a more cost-effective solution compared to fabricated enclosures, considering the welding costs and leak testing involved. They are an excellent alternative to welded tubing, especially when roundness and seamless construction are required.

Furthermore, the deep drawn solution eliminates the challenges associated with impact extrusion, which lacks a draft angle along the sidewalls. This makes it difficult to assemble internal components or use the enclosure as a mold.
